2025 WIMI Bowl Recap
Women in the Mechanical Industry (WIMI) is a national Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA) initiative dedicated to supporting, connecting, and advancing women across all sectors of the mechanical industry. Here in New York, MCANY launched our local WIMI chapter in 2022, and our Annual WiMi Bowl has since become one of our most popular community-building events.
This year’s WIMI Bowl, held just before Thanksgiving, was our largest turnout yet. Contractors from across the membership were represented, and with teams intentionally mixed, attendees had plenty of opportunities to build new relationships, exchange insights, and strengthen cross-company networks.
While we didn’t keep score of strikes and spares, the real win was the meaningful connection among the women shaping our industry.
As an added highlight, each attendee received a copy of The Pivot Year by Brianna Wiest, a book recommendation shared at this year’s National WiMi Conference in Kansas City. We also included a custom MCANY-designed bookmark- a small, meaningful takeaway to support personal growth and reflection.
