The Mechanical Contractors Association of New York held its Annual Meeting on March 31, 2026, followed by the first meeting of the Board of Directors.
At the Annual Meeting, members voted to re-elect Michael Fregara (Epic Mechanical), Joseph Furelli (JDP Mechanical), and David Israel (Rael Automatic Sprinkler) to serve as Directors. We also welcomed Patrick Bowe (ABCO Peerless Sprinkler) as a newly elected Director.
At the subsequent Board meeting, the following officers were elected to serve a one-year term:
- President: David Israel
- Senior Vice President: Anthony Bell
- Secretary-Treasurer: Joseph Furelli

In addition to the elections, the meeting included a review of the Association’s Treasurer’s Report, and a look back on the year from MCANY Team Members Shane McMorrow, Melissa Barbour, CAE, and Mischa Victor-Maraj– highlighting key initiatives, industry engagement, and member participation, along with a preview of what’s ahead, including upcoming Golf Outing details!
