Last week, Women in the Mechanical Industry (WiMI) hosted its second annual WiMI Gives Back event, bringing together members from across the industry for an afternoon focused on community support and service.
In partnership with Covenant House, WiMI members assembled and donated 100 kits for unhoused youth in our communities, including 60 Survival Kits and 40 Women’s Empowerment Kits. The kits were designed to provide essential items, support, and encouragement to young people working to rebuild stability in their lives.
The event once again saw tremendous engagement from WiMI members and Associate Members alike, continuing the strong momentum built during last year’s inaugural initiative.
This year’s event was made possible through the generous support of Associate Member sponsors Atlantic Contracting, Ideal Supply, International Asbestos Control, Metro Valve & Actuation, NEFCO Corp, and Victaulic.
WiMI is proud to continue growing programs that strengthen both industry connections and community impact, and looks forward to building on this initiative in the years ahead.
