| In the attached letter from Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney to the MCANY Contractors, she reports on the recent successful vote in the House of Representatives repealing the 3% withholding requirement which was a very important victory for the Construction Industry. The bill has since moved onto the Senate where they voted unanimously for repeal with a vote of 95-0. We offer many thanks to the Congresswoman for her instrumental efforts in this vote, and for continuing to look out for the interests of our industry in Washington, DC. |
