It is with deepest regret we announce the passing of Ray Hopkins. Ray sadly passed away on his 81st birthday. He was a titan in the industry and well-respected. He’s best known for his larger than like personality and having a presence that could not be ignored. He served as the MCANY’s Executive Vice President for 26 years and famously continued to MC our Outing Dinner (by popular demand) for years after. There are very few people who do not have stories to share of the wisdom he imparted and the impressions he has left. He is regularly quoted at our office and his legacy will live on even if he is no longer with us. Goodbye Ray, you will be missed!
